This notice explains what personal information we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what your rights are. It is written to be read, not to hide anything.
Who we are
This website is operated by Momentum Sales Progression Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16099402, registered office Clockhouse, Butt Lane, Manuden, Bishop's Stortford, England, CM23 1BN), trading as VelocitySPX. In this notice, “we”, “us” and “VelocitySPX” mean that company.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration reference ZB821077.
For anything to do with your personal data or this notice, contact us at privacy@velocityspx.co.uk. We are the data controller for the information described below.
The information we collect
When you complete the “Book a demo” form, or email us, we collect:
- Your name
- Your agency
- Your work email address
- Your phone number, if you choose to give it (optional)
- Your role, and roughly how many sales you have in progression
- Anything else you write to us in your message
Like almost every website, our hosting and form providers automatically record limited technical information — such as your IP address and browser type — to deliver the page and the form securely.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site, such as which pages are viewed and how people arrived here. This only runs if you accept it in the cookie banner shown on your first visit. We anonymise your IP address and do not use this data for advertising. See our Cookies Policy for the full detail, and to change your choice at any time.
Please don't include sensitive details about a specific transaction or a client in an enquiry form. If you want to talk through a live case, we'll arrange a proper conversation.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, arrange and run a demonstration, and follow up about it. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in responding to a business enquiry you have chosen to send us.
We may also send you occasional information about VelocitySPX by email, again on the basis of legitimate interests in marketing a business product to a business contact. You can tell us to stop at any time, in any reply or by emailing us, and we will.
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of providers to run the website and receive your enquiry. Each only processes your information to provide its service to us.

We will also disclose information if the law requires it, and we may disclose it in connection with a sale or reorganisation of our business, in which case any recipient will be bound to protect it on the same terms. Otherwise, we do not share it with anyone else.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of these providers are based outside the UK, mainly in the United States, so your information may be transferred there. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards recognised under UK data protection law — either a UK adequacy decision, or the International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us which applies to a particular provider.
How long we keep it
We keep demo enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and to follow up, and in any case no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you — unless you go on to become a customer, in which case our customer terms apply.
You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the information we hold about you
- correct it if it is wrong or incomplete
- delete it, in certain circumstances
- restrict how we use it, in certain circumstances
- object to our using it — and to object to direct marketing at any time, absolutely
- portability — receive certain information in a machine-readable format
To exercise any of these, email privacy@velocityspx.co.uk. We will respond within one month, and there is no charge in ordinary circumstances.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, by calling 0303 123 1113, or by writing to Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF — though we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Data inside the VelocitySPX platform
Where an agency subscribes to VelocitySPX, that agency is the controller of the personal data it puts into the platform, and we act as its processor under a separate written agreement.
Our structure, and what it means for your data. VelocitySPX is a trading name of Momentum Sales Progression Limited, which also provides outsourced sales progression services. Our customers need certainty that their transaction data is not visible to that side of the business, so:
- Personnel working in Momentum's sales progression services cannot access VelocitySPX or the customer data held in it. Access is restricted to the VelocitySPX product, engineering and support team.
- Customer data in VelocitySPX is never used to inform, source or support Momentum's progression services, and is never used for our own marketing or business development.
Support access. Our support team does not routinely look at customer data. Where a customer asks for help with something we cannot resolve without seeing their data, we will access it only with that customer's explicit permission, only as far as needed to resolve the issue, and for no longer than needed.
If you are a client of an estate agency that uses VelocitySPX and you have a question about your personal data, please contact that agency first — they decide how your data is used.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and restricting access to those who need it. No system is completely secure, but we take this seriously and review it as we grow.
Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date at the top of the page.
